V. EDUSAP FEATURES

V.1.HOME PAGE / DASHBOARD 

 

It is the first and foremost page opened once we login using a web application. It is listed with the complete overview of the institution including the total  student & teachers count, along with the count of total staff and the count of total classes in the institution.

 

Here in the same page the top side menu lists the shortcuts to Dashboard, Attendance module, Marksheet, Exam , Diary and Notice board modules.This also has the provision to list the academic modules separately which will give the admin the leverage to migrate to those modules. 

 

Next to the top side listed menu, the dashboard also homes to different regularly used modules and their shortcuts and their lists are as follows :LATE SMS(Refer V.1.e),   NOTICE(Refer V.1.b),EVENTS CALENDAR (Refer V.1.c),  SEND SMS(Refer V.13.c),and the graphical representation of FEES module with Zoom in, Zoom out and Download options, & graphical representation of Daily ATTENDANCE REPORT (Refer V.1.f.i).

The dashboard or the web module of admin login always carries a side Arrow Menu at the right side of the webpage which is listed with the option for Mail Box, Notice board and Feed back Menu.

 

V. 1. a. MENU BAR.

 

One of the best features of the EDUSAP application is the user-friendly interface. Edusap provides a detailed  menu bar at the left side of the screen listed with the complete features and modules of the application. Every single module featured in the menu will be discussed in detail under the appropriate titles. 

 

V. 1. b. NOTICE BOARD 

 

EDUSAP is equipped with a good notification system, where the institutions or the teachers with the right permissions can share notifications with the students or other staff members in the institution. Effective push notification services make the communication channel more convenient.

 

V. 1. b. i. ADDING A NOTICE  

 

We can add and broadcast notices to the students using the admin login and the staff login. 

 

In ADMIN LOGIN

 

The steps to add notice using the admin login. 

Step 1. Click on the Notice board option/icon on the HOME PAGE.

Step 2. Then select the add notice option.
Step 3. Type in the message/notice in the provided box. (If required a link the picture or image can be shared using the choose image button) 

Step 4. Tick the SEND as PUSH NOTIFICATION BUTTON

Step 5. Select the audience according to our requirement from the TO option, which is listed with STAFF, TEACHERS and STUDENT as options. 

Step 6. If on selecting STUDENTS , Specify the class and division.
Step 7. Press create.

 

In TEACHER LOGIN.

 

The steps to add notice using the teacher’s login  

Step 1. Click on the Notice board option/icon on the HOME PAGE.

Step 2. Then select the add notice option.
Step 3. Type in the message/notice in the provided box. (If required a link the picture or image can be shared using the choose image button) 

Step 4. Tick SEND AS PUSH NOTIFICATION button.

Step 5. Select the class and divisions to which the notice to be shared

Step 6. Press create.

 

V. 1 .c. EVENTS CALENDAR

 

Edusap application helps in creation and storing of a complete event chart for the academic year. This way the special days in an academic calendar can be premarked and made visible to the student and staff body. For events like exams, annual day dates, other celebratory days this service helps in.

 

V. 1. c. i. ADDING AN EVENT

 

Step1. Click on the event calendar.

Step 2. Select the month and date by navigating it by pressing the >> icons.

Step 3. Click on the desired date.

Step 4. Once selecting the date, a + icon will be available.

Step 5. Fill in the TITLE, START DATE, END DATE,START TIME and DESCRIPTION of the event. Along that mark if it's a full day event or not. 

Step 6. Press CREATE.

 

V .1. d. SEND SMS 

 

Home page displays a shortcut to share SMS to the students/parents/teachers in the admin login. It's easy to SEND SMS(Refer.V.13.c)  and to SET A TEMPLATE(Refer V.13.a) for commonly shared SMS can be set and shared using CHOOSE TEMPLATE.

 

V.1. e. LATE SMS

 

Late SMS can be shared to the guardians for the students who appear late for the classes in a single click .

 ADMIN and TEACHER have the authority to share the late SMS.

 

IN ADMIN LOGIN

 

Step 1 Open LATE SMS from the admin homepage. 

Step 2. Select the guardian name using the search box.

Step 3. Type in the late time in minutes.

Step 4. Click SEND SMS. 

A LATE SMS in the predefined format will be shared to the guardian. 

 

IN TEACHER LOGIN.

 

Step 1. Login to the teacher's account.

Step 2. Select the SMS option from the menu bar. 

Step 3. Select LATE SMS, in the dropped down menu.

Step 4. Select the guardian name by using the search box.

Step 5. Type in the late time in minutes.

Step 6. Click SEND SMS. 

A LATE SMS in the predefined format will be shared to the guardian.

 

V. 1. f. ATTENDANCE

 

Daily and hourly based class attendance of the enrolled students can be marked using edusap application. Shortcuts to the attendance module are also marked in the Home page, by using which we are able to mark and share the daily attendance reports of each individual class.(Refer V.6.c)

 

V. 1. f. i. ATTENDANCE REPORT

 

The graphical representation of daily attendance report is visible with class and attendance percentage as their  axes in the home page. Which will help the institution heads and administration gather a daily report. 

 

V. 1. g. EXAM 

 

Edusap helps in planning and significantly allocating exams to every class.With a shortcut provided in the home page with the EXAM button, we can access the EXAM module(Refe V.6.b). In which we can add exams (Refer V.6.b.i), update the marksheets (Refer V.6.c) and can view them. 

 

V. 1. g. i MARKSHEET

 

Edusap marksheet (Refer V.6.c) helps in recording the exams marks and grades of every student according to the allotted EXAMS to their classes. With detailed marking of marks, percentage, max marks etc. Homepage homes to a shortcut for marksheet as well. 

 

V. 1. h. DIARY 

 

One of the most important communication channels in Edusap is the Electronic Diary (Refer V.6.f). With using the shortcut in the home page , admin can enter the diary module and can write and share which can be published for parents or student reference. Or can be kept unpublished for the self view purpose of the teacher. 

 

V. 1. i  MAIL BOX. 

 

Mailbox is the exclusive mailing service with one on one communication facility available in EDUSAp application.

 

Shortcut to the mailbox is available as a mailbox icon that is listed under the small left oriented arrow mark at the right side bottom corner of the web page of ADMIN MODULE and STAFF module.

 

Here the admin can send or receive mail from and to the students/parents and staff members as well as the staff can send or receive mail to and from the institution, other staff and the students. 

This dedicated channel for the mailing system permits the attachment of documents including pictures and other files. 

 

V. 1. i. i. COMPOSE A MAIL. 

    

Step 1. Click on the MAILBOX icon at the top right corner. 

Step 2. Click on the COMPOSE button.

Step 3. Select the recipient type (if the sender is admin then the recipient will be student or staff, if the sender is a staff then the recipient can be the institution admin, other staff or the students and if the sender is a student then the recipient will be a staff or the institute admin.)

Step 4. Add the recipient. 

Step 5. Add the subject.

Step 6. Add the message.

Step 7. If you need to add any document use the choose file option.

Step 8. Press SEND.  

List of RECEIVED , SEND AND CLOSED mails are available once we open the MAILBOX option. 

 

V. 1. i. ii. CLOSE A MAIL. 

 

Step 1. Click on the MAILBOX icon at the top right corner. 

Step 2. Click on the close(x icon) corresponding to the mail to be closed. 

Step 3. Click on the CLOSE TICKET button.

 

V.1.j. FEEDBACK FORM

 

The edusap application permits the admin or principal to receive sincere feedback directly from the students without the interference of other staff members. 

 

V.1. j.i   IN ADMIN OR PRINCIPAL LOGIN

  

 Edusap allows the admin or the principal to read and respond to the feedback shared by the students.  (Refer V.22 )
