V.2 STAFF INFO MODULE
Edusap ADMIN page has a STAFF module which can list out the categories of staff along with their names , contact details and username.We can add or delete the staff members using this window.
V. 2 .a. STAFF LIST
Comprises list of staff members and their addition, deletion and other admin activities related to staff.
V. 2. a. i ADDING SINGLE STAFF
Staff details can be added one by one using the following steps
Step 1. Select Staff module and select staff list option.
Step2.Click on the ADD STAFF button.
Step 3. Enter the basic details including the staff name, type and contact details.
(red rimmed boxes indicate the mandatory fields.)
Step 4. Set a username and password.
Step 5. Submit.
V. 2. a. ii BULK UPLOADING.
Using the bulk upload method multiple staff details can be added in single steps.
Step 1. Select Staff module and select staff list option.
Step 2.Click on IMPORT STAFF button
Step 3. Read and follow the instructions to the point in the window.
Step 4 Download the template.
Step 5. Fill the details.(mandatory fields as per the list in the instructions)
Step 6. Upload the saved excel file. After updating the details. Using the choose file option.
Step 7. Submit.
V. 2. a. iii. ADDING QUALIFICATIONS and DESIGNATIONS
Here the basic qualifications that are required in staff admission and the open or destined designations are listed.
Adding qualification (Refer V.19.i.ii) and for Adding designations (Refer V.19.i.i)
V. 2. a. iv. SHARING CREDENTIALS
Once the staff details are entered , we can share the user credentials to them by SMS.
Step 1. Select Staff module and select staff list option.
Step 2. Tick the staff names.
Step 3. Press the Send credentials button.
V. 2. a. v. EDIT STAFF DETAILS
Staff details can be edited using the following steps.
Step 1. Select Staff module and select staff list option.
Step 2. Select the staff by clicking their name.
Step 3. In the window showcasing the details. Select the Edit option.
Step 4. Make the edits.
Step 5. Submit.
V. 2. a. vi. RESET PASSWORD.
Passwords provided to the staff can be reset in the admin login and using the individual staff logins.
V. 2. a. vi. i USING ADMIN LOGIN
Step 1. Select Staff module and select staff list option.
Step 2. Select the staff by clicking their name.
Step 3. In the window showcasing the details. Select the Edit option.
Step 4. Select the reset password button at the bottom.
Step 5. Reset password by providing new password and confirming it.
Step 6. (optional) Tick the SEND AS SMS button.
Step 7. Press Change Password.
V. 2. a. vi. ii USING INDIVIDUAL LOGIN
Step 1. Login to the individual profiles .
Step 2. Click on the PROFILE button at the end of the menu bar.
Step 3. Click on the change password button.
Step 4. Give the old password, and new password.
Step 5. Verify the new password.
Step 6. Press the Submit button.
V. 2. a. vii DELETE THE STAFF.
The staff details added can be deleted so that way, unwanted staff details can be removed from the system.
Step 1. Select Staff module and select staff list option.
Step 2. Select the staff by clicking their name.
Step 3. In the window showcasing the details. Select the delete option at the bottom right.
Step 4. Confirm by pressing DELETE in the popped window.
Options to Upload the documents, printing the details as well as downloading the basic info of staff is as well available in EDUSAP staff module using documents, print, download buttons respectively given near to the edit option received on selecting the staff.
V. 2. b. PERMISSIONS TO STAFF.
Edusap admin application has the complete authority to give the appropriate permissions to the staff members. Steps (Refer.V.19.f.)
V .2. c. LEAVE REQUEST
Staff can request for leave using their applications and the admin or principal has the privilege to sanction the request.
V. 2. c. i. LEAVE REQUEST USING STAFF LOGIN
Step 1. Login to the STAFF login.
Step 2. Select the LEAVE REQUEST option.
Step 3. Click on the CREATE LEAVE REQUEST button
Step 4. Enter the leave type, from and to date and add the reason in subsequent columns or boxes provided before pressing the CREATE button.
Step 5. Can monitor the status of the application using the STATUS bar in the leave request list and they can also be edited using the EDIT icon. Which also allows the employee to use the DELETE button at the bottom of the pop up box.
V. 2. c. ii. LEAVE REQUEST ACTION BY ADMIN
Admin has the privilege to approve or reject the leave requests from the employees.
Step 1. Select the staff module
Step 2. Select the LEAVE REQUEST Option.
Step 3. Filter the dates
Step 4. List of requests approved, rejected and pending will be listed.
Step 5. Select the pending list
Step 6. Change the status by clicking the action corresponding to the leave request.
V. 2. d. FORMER STAFF LIST
List of staff members who had resigned from the institution is listed here.
V. 2. d. i. ENTRIES TO FORMER STAFF LIST
Step 1. Select Staff module and select staff list option.
Step 2. Select the staff by clicking their name.
Step 3. In the window showcasing the details. Select the Edit option.
Step 4. In the window that comes up select the RESIGN option at the bottom end.
