V.10. ONLINE MCQ TEST MODULE

Edusap helps in creating and conducting online MCQ exams with a good time frame, helping students to prepare themselves for a competitive environment. 

In students login online tests will be in three lists , 

OPEN EXAMS (List of exams available to attend), COMPLETED EXAMS(list of exams that the student already attended.) and EXPIRED EXAMS(list of exams that the student missed)

These exams are scheduled and assigned by the admin or the teachers with the permission of setting exams to their respective classes and subjects. 

 

V. 10. a MANAGE CATEGORIES 

 

It's easy in EDUSAP to create or delete different categories for online exams. 

 

V. 10. a. i.  ADD CATEGORY.

 

Step 1. Open ONLINE TEST from the Menu Bar. 

Step 2. From the open window select MANAGE CATEGORIES.

Step 3. Click on ADD CATEGORY.

Step 4. Give a name to the category.

Step 5. Click CREATE.

 

V. 10. a. ii. DELETE CATEGORY.

 

Step 1. Open ONLINE TEST from the Menu Bar. 

Step 2. From the open window select MANAGE CATEGORIES.

Step 3. Click on the DELETE (Icon) corresponding to the desired category name.

Step 4. Confirm DELETE.

 

V. 10. b. ADD ONLINE TEST. 

 

Step 1. Select ONLINE TEST from the Menu Bar.

Step 2. Click on ADD TEST

Step 3. Enter the title of exam

Step 4.Select the academic period , class and division 

Step 5. Select the category of exam.

Step 6. Fill in the exam start and end date and time

Step 7. Enter the  duration of the exam in minutes 

Step 8. Type in the marks per question and their negative marks.

Step 9. Press the CREATE button.

{Thus the exam is created , next we need to add questions}

Step 10.Type or paste the question in the question box and provide answers in the given boxes. 

Step 11. Select the right answer by ticking the small square at the bottom right hand side of the answer box which contains the right answer.

Step 12. To increase or decrease the option count, press the +or - sign at the top right corner of the answer box respectively.

Step 13. To add the Solution for the question,While setting a question under each question and their answers there we can add the solution under the SOLUTION box. 

Step 14. Then Press SAVE.

Step 15. Repeat the process till you finish the required number of questions. 

 

V.10.c. ADD IMAGES TO THE ONLINE TEST.

 

Online test module includes images , which in turn can be used to include the questions or to add equations or any other diagrams to the question paper. 

Step 1. Select ONLINE TEST from the Menu Bar.

Step 2. Click on ADD TEST

Step 3. Enter the title of exam

Step 4.Select the academic period , class and division 

Step 5. Select the category of exam.

Step 6. Fill in the exam start and end date and time

Step 7. Enter the  duration of the exam in minutes 

Step 8. Type in the marks per question and their negative marks.

Step 9. Press the CREATE button.

{Thus the exam is created , next we need to add questions}

Step 10. Type in the question , or leave the box with a simple character then press choose file option just below. Upload the image.

Step 11. If you add images in the answer column. Use the choose image option successive to the answer boxes.

 

V. 10. d. EDIT ONLINE TEST.

 

Step 1. Select the ONLINE TEST option from the Menu Bar. 

Step 2. Click on the VIEW (icon) corresponding to the exam name.

Step 3. Will result in the exam window. Click EDIT.

Step 4. Do the necessary edits, and press SAVE. 

 

The RESULT shortcut button is also available here. 

 

Note: Once an exam is attended by a minimum of one student, the questions or the answers content shall not be editable since this may cause a disruption to the entire exam and result. Hence the only editing post exam attended by a student is to alter the answer key option using other options specified in the same question.

 

V. 10. e. DELETE ONLINE TEST.

 

Step 1. Select the ONLINE TEST option from the Menu Bar. 

Step 2. Click on the VIEW (icon) corresponding to the exam name.

Step 3. Will result in the exam window. Click EDIT.

Step 4. Click on the DELETE button at the right bottom side of exam details. 

Step 5. Confirm DELETE.

 

V. 10. f. ATTENDING THE ONLINE TEST.

 

Using the Student’s login in EDUSAP, we can attend the online test created and conducted by the institution. 

Step 1. Login using a student login

Step 2. Click on the ONLINE TEST option from the menu bar. 

Step 3. Choose the exam from the OPEN EXAM list.

Step 4. Press on the START EXAM button.

Step 5. Mark the answers by selecting the options.

Step 6. Move on to the next question. 

Step 7. If you need to review the question later,  use “ Mark for REVIEW” then come back later for the question. 

Step 8. At any point of time use the black square option at the side of exam time to get an overall view of the questions attended, pending and review marked. 

Step 9. Either by the end of TIME DURATION or by pressing FINISH EXAM button the exam is completed.

 

V. 10. g. REVIEW THE RESULTS.

 

V. 10.g. i IN ADMIN LOGIN. 

 

Step 1. Select the ONLINE TEST option.

Step 2. Click on the RESULT VIEW (icon) corresponding to the exam name.

Step 3. List of  students and their marks are visible.

Step 4. Select the student names to review the individual results

These results can be exported or printed using the EXPORT or PRINT buttons for future use.

V. 10. g. ii. IN STUDENT LOGIN.

 

Step 1. Select the ONLINE TEST option from the menu bar.

Step 2. Click on the COMPLETED EXAM list.(Exams results will be published after the exam end time)

Step 3. Select the exam. 

Step 4. Then can find the total marks scored, negatives scored and all info of the exam.

Step 5. Detailed exam review showcasing your answers and solutions to every question and their right answers marked along with them. 

 

V. 10. h. ABSENTEES LIST.

 

Step 1. Select the ONLINE TEST option from the Menu bar. 

Step 2. Click on the RESULT (icon) to the corresponding exam name.

Step 3.Click on  the ABSENTEES button. 

Step 4.The list of students who have not yet attended the exam is listed.

Step 5. The PRINT option is available at the bottom of the list.
